The selection process for NPCIL Recruitment:

The recruitment process will involve several stages to select the candidates. Firstly, there will be a preliminary examination which will serve as a screening process. This examination will consist of 25 questions on general knowledge and current affairs, 15 questions on computer knowledge, and 10 questions on English language. Each question will carry three marks, and there will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. The duration of this examination will be 2.5 hours.

The preliminary examination requires the general category to achieve a minimum of 40% marks, while all other categories must obtain at least 30% marks. Following the preliminary exam, the progress exam will be a two-hour test with a maximum of 150 marks. This exam will consist of 25 questions each on quantitative aptitude and critical reasoning, totaling 50 multiple-choice questions. Each question in this exam carries three marks, with a negative marking of one mark.

To qualify for the main exam, general category candidates must secure 30% marks, while reserved category candidates must secure a minimum of 20% marks. Afterward, all candidates will be required to undergo a computer-based skill test.
