The candidates' selection will be determined by their performance in various assessments, including the English written test, proficiency test in playing musical instruments, Physical Fitness test, adaptability test-II, and medical examinations in accordance with the guidelines set by the IAF. The Provisional Selection List (PSL) will be made available to the public on 11 November 2024 at the recruitment rally venue and on the CASB portal.

Eligibility Criteria 

Interested individuals are encouraged to verify their eligibility for registration and participation in the recruitment rally for the IAF Agniveer Vayu (musician) recruitment campaign:

Age Criteria:

• Applicants born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007 are eligible to register.

Educational Requirements:

• Applicants must have successfully completed Class 10th or an equivalent course with minimum passing grades from a recognized board and school.
• Applicants should be able to sing a song continuously with accurate tempo and pitch. They must also be capable of performing a preparatory tune and any notations specified in the notification.
• Applicants must be skilled in playing any one instrument listed in List A or B in the notification.

Musical Experience Certificate:

Applicants may possess any of the following experience certificates:

• A certificate of Grade 5th or higher in the mentioned instrument from a recognized music institute.

                                            OR

• Certificates of participation or awards in various music events.

                                            OR

• A diploma or equivalent certificate in the field of music for candidates specializing in Carnatic Classical or Hindustani music from a recognized institution.

Required Documents 

Candidates who wish to apply for the Air Force Agniver Vayu recruitment drive must ensure they bring their musical instruments for the practical test, along with the Provisional Admit Card and the required documents in original and four self-attested copies:

1. Class 10th mark sheet and certificate
2. Music qualification and experience certificate
3. NOC certificate from the previous employer
4. NCC certificates (if applicable)
5. Consent Form
6. Discharge Certificates for candidates discharged from any armed forces
7. Duly filled children of COAFP certificate.
